but the real reason to hang out at Jesso's is the atmosphere. There is
music, an outdoor patio, and lots of passer's by if you like to people
watch. This area reminds me of some of the neighborhood spots in D.C.

I've only been here
for brunch so far. The atmosphere is very nice. The after church
clientele on Sunday brings back good memories from my childhood. The
staff is courteous and friendly. The dining room is very roomy, the
parking lot was clean and appeared safe, and the tables are a good
size to meet friends and talk on Sunday morning.
For all it's charm, I have to
admit that when I was there, there was a plate that wasn't exactly
clean. I just got another one as did the lady before me. Some of the
food was tepid at best and cold at worst. The only reason the butter
melted on my flat waffle was because the syrup was hot. Although I
didn't have any, it appears the fried chicken wings were really the
star of the buffet. The staff was surprised I skipped the chicken
and grits (which actually looked pretty good).
I plan to try this place again.
