Sony Ericsson P900 / P910a

This is a great phone but is not sold by any U.S. carriers as of this time. I personally know people have purchased it unlocked and used it on Cingular Wireless in the San Francisco Bay area.

I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Sony Ericsson P900 smart phone to the USA. It has many PDA functions as well as being a international GSM handset.

	Cingular, won't let you even talk to them without signing up for a minimum 1 year contract. I already have their service but wanted to purchase a new phone and they won't sell one without me signing a contract. Before leaving the U.S. or Canada, please call 1-866-CINGULAR or visit a retail store <http://www.cingular.com/buy/store_locator> to activate international roaming or international long distance. 	Verizon, Doesn't support GSM so they're only good in the U.S. The sales rep says the market they're after is common everyday users not world travelers or executives.
	T-mobile. Need to talk to them. A friend of mine who travels internationally on a regular basis is very satisfied with his service.
	Sprint, last year they told me that I couldn't make international calls from the U.S. on their system without operator assistance.
